High blood pressure. It's causes, solutions and first aid

 Many people today are getting into diseases which were linked to old aged people only. Such as diabetes, high blood pressure, low blood pressure, joints pain, cholesterol level disruptions etc. Now these issues have penetrate in young generation, many times even school going kids are reported to have these health issues.

Therefore we are going to talk about one of the major issues that all people face apart from their age . That is high blood pressure. It is getting common day by day and is the most reported health issue today.

Red blood cells


High blood pressure, in simple words, is the disturbance in the circulation of blood throughout our body that result in fast flow of blood than normal speed. This becomes dangerous when it exceeds the limit. Just like driving, if you exceed a certain limit your life can be in danger. Same goes with our blood circulation system. The faster is goes the more pressure develops on the organs that are responsible to pump it and do the diffusion process i.e heart and lungs. 

We go through many such news and real experiences that due to high blood pressure a person had a heart attack, a person was paralyzed, or had a brain damage. This is because our body gets damaged bu excessive speed of blood. Just imagine like a machine that has to pump water, like turbines or water pumps if they continuously pumps water they heat up and then either a short circuit happens or they catch fire. 

Our body is a complex system of different organs, nerves, muscles and blood. So excessive use of these can create a short circuit i.e heart attack, or brain damage.

CAUSES


High blood pressure is caused by following issues in our body.


First of all. Due to lack of magnesium, magnesium is the major element that helps our veins to push blood forward. For the systole and diastole movement magnesium is a vital nutrient. But lack of magnesium may cause veins to harden hence veins are unable to do the systematic smooth movement , as a result disrupted movement cause the blood flow difficult. This difficulty inturn creates a pressure of blood in the affected area and hence whole circulation is effected. 

This results in more pressure on heart and lesser supply of fresh oxygenated blood to brain.


Second reason of high blood pressure is the use of salt. Salt dehydrates our blood that means that salt works as a water absorbent in our blood. 


Hydration


Excessive use of salt will destabilize the water content in our blood casing the blood to thicken and hence making it's circulation difficult. Again the pressure builds up on vital organs. 

It is better to use moderate levels of salt in your food and keep yourself hydrated. 


Third reason of high blood pressure is stress. This is basically the symptom of old aged people, who have kids, grand kids, huge hierarchy to divide, choose a successor, and prove themselves worthy. But today's challenging world have brought these issues to young adults and even teens. Earring enough to provide food , shelter and medical to family. To have better results for acceptance in better college.

Then we have bullies, we have peers, we have lesser financial resources, we have racism, we have inflation, we have competition. So it is natural to have stress, as we have made our world a difficult place to survive.

 

Work stress


So during stress our body releases such hormones, like adrenaline and Catecholamine that cause increased heart beats, thus resulting in increase of blood pressure in our body.


Fourth reason that causes high blood pressure is due to extra exertion. Such people comes in this category who don't take good food or healthy food but keep on doing exercises, or hard work like labour, factory work etc. Or going out in high temperatures that cause whole body homeostasis to disrupt.

Our body needs moderate levels of everything. We all have heard that excess of everything is bad. But if we have to do some sort of extra exertion we should take better nutrients and keep our selves hydrated. More prone to high temperatures without right safety measures can also contribute in high blood pressure. 


Fifth reason that causes high blood pressure is due to eating food high in oil content. Regular use of oily food cause the excess oil, that is not digested, to store in our body.

 Where it is stored? We don't have any store room in our body. 

Junk food


This excess oil is stored over our organs, and in our veins. Yes the excess oil starts flowing in our blood, this causes clotting of oil particles, and these particles begin depositing on the walls of veins, which in return narrow down our veins and hence the blood have to create a pressure to flow through the veins.

 Also high oils create minute particles in our blood that makes blood thicker. This all increase in blood thickness and walls of veins create difficulty for blood to flow smoothly around the body. Resulting in high blood pressure.


SOLUTIONS.


There are many solutions to avoid making our pressure to go high. These remedies are very efficient in avoiding the issue.

 But remember that more prone to high blood pressure or routine wise irregular blood pressure levels require medical assistance.  Don't just rely on home remedies.

1) 

Water hydration


Keep your self fully hydrated. Water is the universal solvent, and is the best liquid to dilute almost everything. So to reduce the blood thickness, salt levels, and dryness of veins, water is very important. That is why doctors insist to drink at least 7 to 14 glasses of water everyday. 

Moreover, water intake will reduce the risk of excessive perspiration in high temperatures.

2)

 See what you eat not by eating in front of mirror but by analyzing the food content, the level of nutrition you are eating. 

Lack of sodium effects veins movement, excess of salt causes dehydration, high cholesterol or oily things thickens the walls of veins and causes cholesterol stones in blood, etc so you have to see what are things that you can eat in moderated levels and that will not cause any disruptions in our blood flow.


3) 

Keep some coolant like . Aloe Vera gel to use in sides of wrist and on the sides of neck in case of sudden blood pressure increase.


4) 

Keep some fun activities in you life so you don't stress out.  That doesn't need to have some concert, or a whole match to enjoy but just spending time with friend, or taking part in games with kids, listening to mood lifting music, or helping people around . In short giving your self just half to one hour everyday to refresh your mood, and brain. 

We all need a me- time in our lives so that we can refresh our soul and body. It is a vital step to avoid majority of mental and physical issues.


5) 

Do some walk everyday. Researches have shown that doing at least half an hour of fast walk can help the blood regulation to good levels causing all the disruptions to fade.

Also it will help in muscle flexibility and will avoid muscular strictness.


FIRST AID


This is not formal first aid that you get from medical professionals but this is what I use when my mom , my husband, and any one around me gets high blood pressure due to any reason.


- First of all begin with drinking fully chilled water sip by sip. Don't drink it fast . If it is winters than cool water is enough but not warm. 


- After the glass of water apply water at the back of neck. This is the place where whole nerves system is connected to the brain the head office of our impulses. Therefore when you apply water there it will created cooling impulses in our body.


- Pour generous amount of water on feet or simply soak your feet in cool water , if it's summers than cold water will be good in winter normal tap water is enough. 

First aid


Feet have the second head office of our nervous system so this will again give cooling impulses. 


-Next after all this have another glass of cool water sip by sip. This will allow the dilution of blood and hence making blood flow easier.
