Morning routine for everyone and anyone in the most simple way.

 Many people around the world have a full fledge morning routine. From morning yoga to breakfast they have a complete two to three hours routine. But the question is is it necessary? Yes it is necessary but of course all of us don't have that celebrity time that we can spend in our selves every morning. Some of us have to go to office some to an educational institution and some are mothers who hardly get time to even have a proper breakfast. Another issue is the expense on the healthy breakfast that discourage us. I am a mother of two kids and belong to upper middle class in Pakistan and everyone knows that inflation is the biggest issue in third world countries. So spending so much on my own self I would prefer to save for my kids , and that is the problem  with majority of the world

So what should we do?

Answer is simple that we really don't need those expensive diets for healthy breakfast. It is not about what you eat, but how you eat. No one is asking you begin your day with a glass of fresh juice , then a bowl of berries and an hour of yoga and then after half an hour breakfast. You can simply arrange you everyday menu in such a way that it reduces calories and increase nutrition.

First let's begin with the glass of luke warm water and lemon.






Trust me and you can do a research that morning lemon water is the best of the best beginning of the day. The trick is you really don't need to add honey as in many places around the world real honey is very expensive. Yes I agree that only lemon in Luke warm water doesn't really taste good but a daily routine will not make difference. But if making a routine is getting difficult then you can add a pinch of salt for taste this will make it easier to drink. 




This warm water have many benefits, 

  • It help reduce weight
  • It keeps body hydrated all around the year 
  • It avoids constipation.
  • It makes skin glow

After this you can give yourself some stretching. Just for 5 - 15 min as easy for you. What you have to do is take a deep breath and take your arms up in air coming on your toes giving a full body stretch.





If you feel that you are unable to balance then us you door the length of door . If possible, hold the top of door and let your body stretch without picking your toes from ground , count till 20 for beginners and at least 50 for daily routine. Only one rep. Next you stand by your feet open to your shoulder width and bend on the sides of your abs to give the stretch in the sides of your abs - the love handles-. Count till 10 for beginners on each side and 20 for daily routine with 2 ,2 reps on each side.



After the upper body stretching , now lean forward and try to touch your toes without bending your knees. Count till 5 for beginners and at least 15 for daily routine and 2 - 3 reps . 

By doing this you feel your complete body active and charged and all the laziness will fade away. Fresh blood will circulate in your body. Early morning stretching is the key for whole day activeness. It is better to do such stretching to avoid any kind of crams or muscular pain in your body. It is not obligation to follow only these three stretching poses, you can add as much as you want and you can increase reps and counts according to the time you have. I have mentioned for those who are short of time but in need for good health. Benefits of the above mentioned stretching are :

  • All the shoulder muscles get a stretch reducing neck and shoulder pain
  • The chest area is reduced ( for mothers who after delivery have gain fats in chest area)
  • The abs get toned
  • The side fats of love handles reduces
  • The inner muscle of thighs slowly reduce fats
  • The belly core is toned and reduces fat

There are so many benefits of this morning stretching that you can't imagine. You might be thinking that I am a physician or a yoga master. But the answer is no I am not. I have gone through so many experiments on my own self to reduce weight that I now feel I can better guide than the trainers. The biggest reason is that I have experimented all of this and follow the routine mentioned. Yes  many times my routine is disturbed by many factors but I come back again because it benefits my body. So let's come back to our morning routine . 

Next thing you have to do is -Finally- your breakfast. Have a nice 5 minutes break after your exercise to relax your muscles and then you can have your breakfast .




Remember breakfast is the most important meal of the day. If yo skip your lunch it won't effect so much , if you skip your dinner it won't effect you so much but breakfast will have a long lasting and later in life miserable effects. So having breakfast is very essential for good health and long life. 

Now the question is what to have in breakfast? 

The answer is simple, all you need is a full dose of what you like to eat in breakfast. It can be any thing from a full bowl of porridge to fry eggs and tortillas. The only thing to remember is nutrition, I personally will prefer to have eggs in any form, boil, fry , omelet, baked, or any other way you like. For those who can't digest eggs like me or are allergic to them can have milk, full yogurt, white butter, wheat bread, waffles, egg less cake etc. 




At the end you can complete your morning routine by having a cup of milk, tea , or coffee. Now don't get to deep whether green tea or black , milk coffee or black coffee , plain milk or milk shake. You can have any thing you like . 

The biggest rule of healthy life is to eat what you like in nutritional value things not in junk or canned foods or any unhealthy eatables. No doubt they have their own charm but once in a month will not do any harm. Not more than that. 

Your wish to live a healthy life is the first step towards healthy routine. It is essential to have a good morning routine it will not only maintain your health but will tone your figure and reduces risks of old age diseases. 

One day we all have to grow old and old age diseases will affect us such as high blood pressure, diabetes, joint pains, muscular pains , wrinkles, etc . A good morning routine will reduce the chances of such diseases. 




Now that doesn't mean that you can not begin healthy living if you are above 40. You can , if you feel you need healthy life style you can begin it any time. Only you need to check your doctor or physician for exercises and digestive issues with fresh juices or berries. Gradually if you begin bit by bit one day you will feel the difference.
