Benefits of walking everyday for good health

 How many times we have seen that doctors urge to have some fast walking everyday. Either in the early morning or before going to bed or any time comfortable to us. But they always emphasize to have fast walking everyday to keep or inner system stable and in good condition.

Walking has many benefits apart from just a bit of exercise. It is very important for all of us to do it every day for at least one hour so that our internal system gets healthy.

But you know that there are times when it is not advisable to walk. Yes it is very essential to know about when it is good to go for walk, and when not to go for walk.

So let's see why doctors and nutritionists urge us to go for walk.


1) Digestive system


Studies have shown that normal walking after eating helps our enzymes to efficiently digest food. Specifically when you eat a high calorie food, walking for at least 15 to 20 minutes helps in reduction of fat deposit under our skin. 



How many time we see people complaining that after eating their stomach swells and shows that how much they have eaten. This is very common issue. People with such issues are always finding loose fitting pants so that it doesn't get tight after having meals in office, or any event. 

Walking helps in maintaining the size of our stomach rising this way. If we keep on sitting after having our food, it can make our belly swollen and will eventually grow it bigger. One of the biggest cause of obesity is to keep on sitting after every meal. 

The first advise from any dietitian is to have some walk after eating and not just sitting idol. This also boost our enzyme system and the digestion of food in our body. Better the food digested lesser it will be deposited on our organs. Otherwise not only our abdomen will feel swelled up but also a lots of fat deposit will occur under our skin and on our digestive organs.

For such people the best suggestion that doctors, nutritionists and dietitians give is to have fast walking for about one hour. Many people confuse working around and going here there as walking. But this concept should be eliminated, walking with fast foot steps for continuous one hour is the only way of walking. Either on treadmill, in garden, or any place comfortable for you. 

Going for walk for one hour, gives us many benefits ,such as, it helps in controlling constipation which is the major reason of rising of abdominal part of our body, reduce risk of fat deposit under our skin which is where we see all the bulky form of our body like hips, thighs, arms etc and on organs.

 There are two types of fats, one that are deposited under our skin, and one those  are deposited on our organs, so by walking both of these fats gradually reduce and helps in maintaining our fitness.

It is proven by many scientific researches that having a walking routine specifically in our older ages can help lower the risk of heart attack, and fats deposit around our heart.

When ever we have any heart issues like pain or irregular heartbeat, we see a doctor and after scanning and thoroughly checking our heart, doctors revel that our heart has got fat deposits, or our blood has increased in fat or cholesterol content in it, the most common advise they give is to make a routine of fast walking.

Walking for at least 50 to 60 minutes every day can reduce many cardiovascular issues. People having more weight and older age should make a firm routine of walking so that they can avoid any heart issues and keep themselves safe from heart attack, and bypass surgeries.

We all know that our muscle requires good blood flow to avoid any type of tiredness, and cramps. When we go for walk and do the exertion blood flow increase in our veins and capillaries, which give a good supply of fresh blood to all our organs and muscles.

Some researches have proven that some energy hormones of our body, namely cortisol, epinephrine, and norepinephrine increases after eating. These hormones are responsible to increase our body's energy levels. To make the best use of this energy we should walk around one hour. Other wise this energy will turn into fats and will be deposited on organs and under our skin.

Post delivery women also feel such pains in their body, and this gradually becomes more painful by the passage of time. This trouble the life consistency of our body and keep us away from all the happiness of our family and ourselves.

Walking for about 40 to 50 minutes can reduce the risk of joint pains and help us to live better and happy lives with our loved ones. Good walking habits can keep us away from arthritis and other mascular pains.

 With the growing age our joint lubrication reduces but walking with a routine can re lubricate our joints and keep our muscle in good movement procedures.


6) Muscle Tone




How many women and men around the world are always cautious about toning their legs and thighs, hardening their muscles and make a good shape of their lower body. 

With the help of walking at least 1 mile a day can help achieve our target of lower body toning and shaping. Walking routine can tone our legs and along with that harden our legs muscles. 

So you all see that having a walk for 45 minutes to one hour can help with so many problems of our body specifically physical issues that develop due to growing age. 

Some researches have shown and walking after every meal plus a 45 min continuous walk can help with good fitness, and tone figure. So it is really important to have routine of walking with fast steps.


7) Walking Not Allowed


Now it is important to know what are the times when we are not allowed to walk.

With so many benefits mentioned you might be curious to know what in the world could go wrong if we walk. 

So here it is..

If you start walking just right after the last bite of your meal, it can start the opposite effect. Instead of enzymes to work good, they will feel too much overloaded. The food you will eat will stay for longer in your body because the stomach will have to work with the too much of movement. 

This will turn to acidity or gas will build up in your stomach making your abdomen swell, for sometime until you digest it.

Another time when it is not advisable to walk is just after shower. During shower you body completely relaxes and cool down, in this situation if you start walking immediately after shower your body will again start rising the body temperature. You know the hot and cold effect on our body. This will not only make you tired but also it can give you fever. 

So be careful when you do exercise keep simple tips in mind to avoid any unwanted situation..
